Reviving an old thread. I have a Kohler K2403-2 primer installed. Pulling it seems to have resistance as if it's drawing in fuel. Pushing it has no resistance. The Aircraft Spruce web site only has primer rebuild kits listed by airplane, not primer manufacturer and my plane is not on the list. What size O-ring does this primer take, and are the valve balls and springs available? Would an inlet valve stuck open cause the easy push in?
A number of different primers used the same orings. Cessna put out an old SL below that listed an upgraded oring. And I believe McFarlane still offers a generic oring kit for most primers. As to the other parts, never really found a good source with a lot of used assemblies on the market.
