After some 90 hours without power, it came back on this afternoon :yes:

Ahhh. The cool, dry breeze from Dr. Carrier's wonderful invention once again wafting through the rooms of our domicile. Happy Siberian Huskies again!

Who gives a rats *ss that there's no phone service yet? I'll take a/c over phone any day :cheers:

The power company wanted to wait till the air cooled off before giving you back AC

What was that about?!? Didn't see it in the news...
 
90 hours.... sigh.... glad to hear it.

I spent the night in a dark hotel Tue. night just down the road from you. Ended up at KoP for dinner - because it was the only little area that had power. Thank goodness for the hotel maids that sought fit to leave the AC on "high - max cold" all day before I checked in. It stayed cool all night.
