Portable Intercom Recommendations

Looking for a portable, completely self-contained intercom for use in a Pietenpol Air Camper with no onboard elect system. Any recommendations? Ideally something that will work in conjunction with a hand held radio for external comms.

I don't have one of these (got a different one from PSE no longer availabe) but I'll bet it's one of the best.

Unlike most portables (and many panel mounts) the PSE portable intercom has automatic squelch (most important if the headsets aren't identical) and independent mic circuits. Independent mic circuits means that when one person speaks you don't hear the amplified background noise from any other person's microphone. This is very noticeable in a noisy cockpit, not so much in a quiet one.

DRE set the standard 15 years ago for 2 place ultralights. I still have mine and it works great, the last time I used it. Great in very noisey environments.
