Crap, here I was thinking you finally got into a J-bar Mooney. You cheated.... :p ;)

They are awesome aircraft though.

He bought that one in California. Man has a nice collection... M20J, 182 G100, SNJ, and a Piper Malibu
 
Hmmm I would trade the Venture for a Malibu any day. Air conditioning, pressurization.... mmmmmm

I'm really not sure the full history of the plane but as grum said it definitely came from cali to charlotte.
 
J is a terrific airplane. First flew one 36 years ago. Still a favorite.

Hell I'd like to, don't have the funds at the moment...but wouldn't rule it out a little down the road. Trying to get the complex/HP knocked out at the moment
