I had my first divert due to wx this evening from ACK to BED---had to put the plane at OWD, only 15 or so miles from home due to the big ol' CBs ahead.
ATC was very helpful to me on this flight, and I was in a G1000 with weather, which helped out quite a bit too.

Gezzz, FALSE ALARM

The wx was just fine tonight from ISP to the NW by the time I got into the air.
I got the usual ice & some turb but nothing that stood out.
