Glad to hear injuries are survivable!
The area around ISP is just littered with large warehouse like buildings -- sounds like they did the right thing and landed "straight ahead" while still low and slow on takeoff.

Wonder where they left the other two seats of this Sundowner.
It sounds like they were lucky that they crashed directly in front of the EMT location. The on-ground injury was a minor injury to a rescuer.
