The airport is adjacent to a high school. The football game was in progress at the time of the crash. Horrible thing for them to witness.

True, although as one of those present (and nearly a statistic of) the incident at Reno in 2011, watching is no picnic either. That image will replay in the witnesses' minds for a long time.
