Plane Crash on TO Lake Hood Today

Float plane had problems on takeoff and crashed today at Lake Hood, AK.

Not sure what happened, may have been overloaded?? The two occupants walked away with no injuries.
 
Dam.... hate to see the sea plane get torn up.

Really glad the people walked away.... did they walk on water?

Glad no serious injuries,the airplane can always be repaired.
 
Huh...alaska aviation heritage museum. I might have to check that out today.

If the water doesn't get ya, the mud will. :sad:

The Cook Inlet has one of the fastest tides on earth. At times people will surf the incoming wave.
