Plane Crash near Fredericksburg, Texas

Fly past Harper all the time, see that strip and often wondered if I could set it down successfully. Lots of trees, and some small fields surrounded by trees. Bird Dog ought to have a pretty slow stall speed which should help.

The last flight my plane took before the new engine was installed was into fredricksburg. Slung a rod and the previous owner dead sticked it into Fredricksburg. Rented a hangar there and didn't have the cash to fix it. I bought it.
 
I'm glad everyone made it out relatively ok. It's beautiful country here, and lots of great places to land. :)
 
Always good to hear of a wreck with survivors. Hope they mend quickly.
 
I had the pleasure to meet Bob Snowden recently at the Gillespie County Airport Day. A friendly, helpful fellow. I certainly hope he has a speedy recovery.
