Hello,

My instructor gives free seminars in the Los Angeles area for continued pilot education. Some also apply to WINGS credit. Anyhow, he wants to have a seminar on Seaplane operations, but being in Los Angeles he has not been able to find anyone willing to come and talk in a seminar. I told him I would ask here to see if anyone would be willing. I suggested he call Icon aircraft since they are local and are building a seaplane LSA, but they were not interested or were too busy..

Anyone willing to do it? Or anyone have any info on someone to call?

Here is a link to his seminar site: http://blog.mendaviation.com/

Best regards,

Marc

Have him give Jojo Sheble a call (800) 249-6482, he may come over for that.

If JoJo can't do it, there are some seaplane folks in the San Diego area at MYF that might be able.

If you need, I can try and ask around at Gibbs. I know of at least a couple seaplanes based there.

Thanks guys,

I will let my instructor know...

Wow I just went to Sheble's website... Beech 18 on floats looks amazing.

Lots of fun as well. If you can get Jojo to come, you'll luck out, he's a lot of fun and he's a DPE as well so he's no slouch at knowing his stuff.

My instructor gave him a call and left a message.. Hope he can make it happen.

On another note, once I get my PPL, my goal is to shortly thereafter get my Tailwheel rating and he looks like a good source and could possibly get TW and seaplane at the same time just for fun...

Bullhead city is only a 5 hour drive from Los Angeles.. Or I fly there..:rolleyes2:

I just realized your avitar is from his Beech 18....
