Here's an interesting proposal - anyone interested in flying a 172 to Oshkosh as part of our Hayward Air Rally event? We have a pilot and plane that lacks a current medical, looking to share the flight costs and accommodations to/from Oshkosh and to participate in the air rally. He estimates fuel cost of about $25/hr each, with other expenses shared as appropriate. He even has a hotel booked in Oshkosh already!
He is a current pilot but cannot get his medical release so you would be acting PIC even when he's at the controls. It could be a very economical way to have a great flying experience to Air Venture! For more info on the air rally event, please visit http://www.hwdairrally.org/index.shtml.
