Pictures at an Airshow Exhibition

Gotta love that banked show pass, always makes for great shots. Thanks for sharing your pictures!!

Very nice, thanks for posting!

I especially loved the addition of the following to the airplane pictures:

1) the embedded sound clips!
2) the people shots (i.e., the girl looking up at the Golden Knights Parachute Team)

Great shots... thanx!!!

I always enjoy looking at the old birds...
Also the "newer" Buff and Bone I used to fly.

I went to the EDW open house in '97 for the 50th anniversary of breaking the sound barrier. The hangar the B-1 in this photo gallery is shown in had a B-2 Spirit and a U-2 Dragon Lady parked next to each other in the back of the hangar. The N9M Flying Wing was parked in between. In front of those planes were ~100 EAA member airplanes, also inside the same hangar.

It was/is a big hangar.

The '97 open house also had a two ship F-117A demo and a 2-ship SR-71 demo. Not to be seen again in my lifetime, I'm sure.

Awesome photos! Every time I see the thread title I immediately expect to see the
"Hut of the Baba Yaga", from "Pictures at an Exhibition" by composer Moussorgsky.
