After a bit of Gin and missing my programming days, I built a website.

I was on a website for an FBO and in one of the photos on their site, I saw my plane in the background.

I thought it would be interesting to see if I could build a site that with a searchable database of airplane photos where people could search their N number and see where all they have been spotted by other photographers.

I have snapped a lot of photos of planes and I am always trying to track down the owners to get them the photos. This is totally a chicken and egg thing where it is only useful if it has a ton of users but still was a fun little project.

Currently this is still in very early beta and more functionality will be coming soon.

If you want to play with it, go to the link below.

I get the Chuck Norris award from you and no photos of 55WB? **sigh**

I hate to say this....

Have you tried to Google your N number?

N55WB looks to be a nice steam gauge 182 with a red on white paint scheme and wheel pants.

Google is hit or miss and far less specific.

my n number: https://www.google.com/search?q=n54...S0sQT6r4GYBA&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=854

I am sure there are a lot of sites that are similar (airliners.net) but I wanted to build something very specific. Googling my nNumber beings back a bunch of photos from a bunch of websites that may or may not be crappy photos.

Still, it was a fun little programming project.
