What exactly is the difference between the H2O2 in these rockets and the bottle sitting in my cabinet?

The purity of the H2O2. I don't know what household peroxide concentration, but he is talking about 90+% pure here.

IIRC household peroxide is 3%. Now if you really want to go, use red fuming nitric acid and hydrazine! -- Mike

I think Mike is right. Pure hydrogen peroxide is pretty corrosive...not something you'd want on your skin.
