I've spent the last few weeks helping the owner get his new airshow mount ready for FAA inspection. It's taken Jeremy 5 years to put this bird together. He got it back from the paint shop in Florida in July. Quite an upgrade from his Skybolt...

We intend on firing the motor (Monte Barrett 420 HP M14PF) in a couple of days then final checks, FAA paperwork and DAR inspection. I'm really jazzed about seeing it fly.

I've got a set of Model 12 plans buried in the hangar somewhere...maybe someday.

What's MP-14 availability like these days?

Wow that thing is bad azz

That is one beautiful air plane! A true piece of art.

I've been following the build and love the photos on his FB page. Nice work! I might know someone who could do some air-to-air photos. ;)

Unfortunately a fuel system problem cropped up...
It's going to be a week or so until all the parts are firmly screwed together again.
