Panic Attack on Air Canada Flight

less like a panic attack and more like a psychotic break...

Felt sorry for that poor woman in the row ahead of him... :eek:

With all the other things they do, I wonder if TSA severely restricts future airline flying for these people who exhibit this type of problem?

ya right! :no::no::no:

We had a lady freak out on us last week, actually. Delayed the flight 30 mins and had to be denied travel by the gate supervisor and the Captain. Then she went over to United and was denied over there. Then came back and tried again on our later flight. We denied her, but the TSA/ticket counter didn't seem to care much.:no: Pretty sure she didn't have half her brain, let alone 3 oz of liquid; what would the TSA care?

I agree with some of the comments that they handled it well, without getting all obnoxious themselves, but did you notice how easily he slipped the plastic handcuffs off? Did they intentionally not tighten them down to avoid further upsetting him, or are they really that ineffective?
