S--- night last night, s--- day at work today. A conversation tonight I will remember.
While I was at work, my "baby" sister (13) went horse back riding for the first time and liked it so much she wanted lessons. $500 for 13 lessons on top of the $90/ lesson they (my parents) already pay for my flying lessons. As a joke, my mom posted on Facebook "now accepting donations for the (name withheld) horse back riding lesson fund." One of her friends commented that her husband was a CFI (I'm assuming that since she said he is "certified to teach." and that he also owns his own plane and is willing to teach for free as he builds up hours. I'm not going to let him teach me for free, but still.
I just hope (read: praying) that he agrees with his wife's offer.
