Two aircraft, a North American T-28 Trojan and a Bellanca Citabria are leap frogging down to Airventure Oshkosh from Fairbanks Alaska raising awareness about Wounded Warrior Project and general aviation. Using General Aviation as a medium, our goal is to introduce into the community, two commonly misunderstood words, "General Aviation". We will be flying through Canada following the old WWII ALSIB(Alaska Syberia) route used to ferry B-25 and B-17's to the Soviet Union. We will be attending the T-28 Flyig clinic in Sheboygan, WI one week prior to Airventure. 100% of all proceeds and funds raised for the wounded warrior project and donated directly the the organization. All operating and fuel costs are covered at the pilot's responsibility. We will be leaving mid-July and stay for the entire week at air venture.

Sounds like a great trip!

The museum at Watson Lake airport is a tribute to the ALSIB route.
