Hi folks,
I'm thinking of becoming a pilot. For the last 5 years I have been taking mild anti-depressants (veneleflaxin). I used to take 137mg and am now down to 75mg. I'm considering starting a pilot course and stop taking the anti-depressants (I believe my depression is gone and can safely go off the meds).
My questions is if I stop taking the anti-depressants will I still need to mention to my AME that I suffered from depression in the past and was on anti-depressants? Or do they only care about current conditions?
Thank you,
Erez.
