Omaha CWS hints

I will be flying to Omaha from New Orleans at the end of the week.
Looking for any ideas on airports, hotels, things to do and things not to do.

Your experiences would be appreciated.

Things to do:

Omaha Zoo, Strategic Air Command Museum in Ashland, "Safari" off I-80 (part of the zoo), Lauretzen Gardens. Lincoln, NE- University has a decent natural history museum, see the NE state capital building. See the big fish tank in Cabelas near Millard (MLE- nice little airport) There's also Omaha Eppley (OMA)

things to do and things not to do.

To do: The zoo, for sure. SAC Museum, for certain (I-80 west, exit after the Thunderchief, turn right and look for missiles). I mean, really, where else can you see a B-36?

Not to do: North of TD Ameritrade Park after dark.
