Odd NOTAMS

That's actually a pretty common NOTAM. It's been a "regular" over much of New Mexico for the past few years. Not fulltime, but regularly active. IT shows up in Houston Center and FW Center NOTAMS because the area covered is so wide.
 
White Sands Missile range in in that area. I'm sure they are testing GPS jamming with missiles and gps guided ordinance.

You will see s similar NOTAM often in the southern NV/CA area. China Lake and Area 51 stuff.

Maybe it's for the firebombers.

I always thought riots like that would be great places for fire bomber training. Make a low run and cool all those hotheads off real quick.
