Ocular hypertension forms

Evening,

for someone that has been told
They have ocular hypertension and takes dorzolamide and brimodine drops to manage it… but does NOT have glaucoma. What FAA forms would the AME require during a medical certification exam… 8500-7 alone? Or given the ocular Hypertension would they require 8500-14 as well even though no condition of glaucoma present? Just want to get the right forms in order the first time. Thank you

Got this situation either the 8500-7 or -14 will do, but you also need a set of normal Humphrey 24-2 visual fields. If normal, the AME can issue you WITHOUT a special issuance….on a CACI, as it were.

My visual fields test had to be no more than 30 days old. I don't know if that applies to your situation.
