a system for 2 adults able to last 4 hours, which equipment to use up to 20k feet? masks or canulas? bottle size?

Aerox web site will get you what you want to know.
Canulas only up to 17,000, some will say 18,000
Masks to 25,000
Pressure masks above 25,000

Get a finger pulse O2 meter to check your status.
Don't forget your periodic PRICE checks.

20k takes a mask. Which system depends on how often. Use it lots and it starts getting worth looking to see if you can use a diluter/demand system. Fixed system, what's the cheapest STC with a 72/80cf cylinder? Can you get one with the Luxfer or similar composite bottles? They're thin walled Alwith a Kevlar wrapper. Too light to dive with, they're in use as SCBA cylinders for firefighting kits. For a portable system whichever you can get cheapest commercially, or lightest. The other option is to get a SCUBA or SCBA lightweight cyl and a low cost Scuba Pro 1st stage regulator (Scuba Pro uses O2 compatible components from stock, most other brands require a service for use over 40% O2) with a pair of the lightest, smallest second stages you can find, and put a swivel between the hose and the second stage. Pull the mouth bites off the second stages and attach the microphone style mask instead.

If they are in your neck of the woods, there are a good few tech dive shops where they can get 3500 psi O2 fills pretty cheap and you can buy extra cylinders used for about $80.

BTW, use DIN valves rather than K valves for safety.
