Time to visit the daughter next week for the much bally-hoo'd Parents Weekend. A visit to downtown Boston does sound like fun. So, weather permitting, it would appear that Norwood (OWD) is a good choice to fly into. It is close to the Rt 128 station that seems to have a commuter train (Providence/Stoughton Line) to South Station.
From a locals perspective, is this doable? Any local ways or customs that I should be aware of? I would assume that a taxi is available from "OWD to the Rt. 128 station or bum a ride from the line crew. Probably fly in on Friday and return Sunday afternoon.
