did you all know about this NORAD tradition?

For half a century, the military agency dedicated to detecting threats against the United States and Canada has reported Santa's sleigh ride to curious youngsters around the world.

I remember as a kid in the 50's, the evening news would always "cover" NORAD's reporting of Santa's progress. Haven't seen that in many years.
What the yut's of today are missing. sigh

Yup. Known about it for years. Vey cool that they do that. When I worked at Cal City PD, we used to broadcast the updates over the PD radio, for the amusement of scannerland.

This Christmas Eve I worked day shift, so I kept the website up and would refresh every 20 min or so, beieve it or not, kids would call to see if we knew where Santa was.
