Non-Flying car

I stand by my opinion that a flying car will always be a poor car stuck inside an equally poor airplane and will cost more than both. It has no advantage aside from not needing to rent a car at your destination.

Jetpacks though...

I don't disagree on the disadvantages.

I can see three other big advantages, though.
- car gas (financial advantage)
- no need for a hangar (another huge financial advantage)
- great plan B - if weather moves in, just land at the nearest BFE airport (even a grass strip) and continue on ground with no interruption.

Though I wonder about the cost. I think most flying cars come in under the price of a new 172. Or god forbid AOPA's rebuilt 152. If I am wrong, please do correct me. Prices fluctuate a bit and I am too lazy to keep track. ;)

oh you know there is video of this somewhere...
I wanna see it.
