Found this on my paper's web-site this morning...

SANTA FE, N.M. --New Mexico is taking its fight against drunken driving to men's restrooms around the state. The state has ordered 500 talking urinal cakes that will deliver a recorded anti-DWI message to bar and restaurant patrons who make one last pit stop before getting behind the wheel.

oh no now psycho people who are drunk are going to be like....OH NO NOW THE TOILET IS TALKING TO ME!!!!!!!!! Then they will prolly pee on the floor heh heh heh. Thats kinda gross.

Give it time, someone will find a way to have it take a urinalysis so there's a record before you leave the bar. But, some lawyer will come along and figure out how to beat it. :D

If they'd just make it vary the message according to the alcohol content of the urine (does that reflect blood alcohol?) it could go from "Drive Safely, don't drink and drive." to "Get a (sober) buddy to drive you home or we're calling the cops".
