What's fascinating about that video is he is flying #2 and giving her hand signals. I would have thought her job was to fly and his is to stay in position on her. I can't imagine when she can look back and see his hand signals. Maybe he only cues the call of the next maneuver. They are on the radios.

Ah yes. The French Connection. I saw them several times and always enjoyed their routine. Two more casualties of the air show circuit.
