For you WingX users, there is a new release available for download from the app store. For new users and subscription renewals they've also added a new reduced price option of $200 for three years.
I really like the new distance measuring feature. During flight, just put the crosshairs over the airport you are calling on approach and you can tell them your exact distance away from the airport. I also love it for flight planning to divide up long trips for rest/fuel stops. Put in your beginning and ending destinations then start the simulator using a very slow speed. Drag the screen along your route until you are the distance away for your desired stop(s).
Hilton is constantly adding new features that is keeping WingX on the cutting edge. Now if Sagetech can just get their Clarity ADS-B / AHRS / GPS receiver ready for prime time, it should be an awesome wireless pairing.
