Good news today. The state aeronautics commission approved our grant for construction of a new terminal building. This is something that we have been seriously working for nearly two years. The one we are in now has been in service since the airport was built in 1960. In the meantime, the town has tripled in size and the airport has grown correspondingly. The present building is seriously undersized.
Hopefully, about 7 months from now we will be holding a ribbon cutting party for the new building.
