Hello fellow aviators, Mike here checking in with you. Just found the site while I was searching the web related to the Kindle or Nook to be used for charts/plates. Although I have found some information, I'm not really sure I've hit all the right spots, so if anyone has some posts or can direct me on better search words other than Nook or Kindle, I'd appreciate it.

Everyone have a Happy Holiday season! Looking forward to searching the site.

Welcome!

As far as the nook/kindle go, I believe both can display PDF files? But the real issue is getting the PDF files onto the device, and then once they are there being able to find the ones you want.

The whole point of the various Flight Bag applications for iOS and Android is to give you a decent user interface.

Good luck with your searching.

I use a nook, but I first rooted it to install android software and then got the app for flight plan mobile. You can get all the plates you want for free. i know this dosent help you, sorry i didn't keep my nook factory long so I didn;t get a chance to play with it.
