NDB/ADF on FAA test...

Per AOPA, private pilot test will no longer be asked NDB/ADF questions. From what I read, that is only on the private pilot test. What about instrument tests? NDB approaches?
 
It's getting hard to find an NDB lately.
 
Looks like they did remove a lot of the more dubious subjects from the IRA test. The whole thing on composite flight plans kind of went out the window when the local FSS as a point of pilot contact went away. The questions on the SDF and LDA were actually one of the factually ambiguous and needed to get deleted anyhow. There is two whopping SDF left and one of those is NOTAMed OTS.

I'm very happy they got rid of the idiotic primary/secondary instruments thing which made little sense other than something you had to rote learn to pass the exam that was of no practical use.

They got rid of the weather services that don't exist anymore (yeah) as well.
