I've just noticed when I play something in Quicktime through an internet browser, the audio from the quicktime clip/audio file stutters badly when another sound source (windows XP, AIM, e-mail) creates sound and stops when that source stops creating that noise.

Does this sound like a sound driver issue, or rather a Quicktime issue?

Thanks.
Jason

sounds like a streaming issue. download it then play it off your hard drive.

It happens on anything that opens in quicktime (MP3) on Firefox/Internet Explorer. If I download it, it opens in WPM. Should I rather open it in Quicktime 7 and see if it does it in the actual program Quicktime, not the browser plug-in?

well the browser uses the files from your installed version of th program, so if it happens during playback on your HD its the program not the streaming, that could be issues with another program conflicting. Im guessing its just streaming issues.
