I used to be active on the Les Paul forum and Ed was a regular there. Truly one of the great guitarists. Sad to see him go so young.

Ed was a very good guy, while I didn't know him personally, a good friend and former bandmate of mine was fast friends with Ed and I had communication with him that way. His insight into the early days of Skynyrd was cool stuff. He will be missed. Fly High Ed!
