The reason you lease a car is because you want a new car every two years. But let's say you don't really want a new car, you just want new wheels. There you go. An economical alternative.
 
They had one of those RIGHT next to a Toy's R' Us here in Bradenton, FL.

I did a double-take too when I saw it, apparently it closed down a few years back though. There wasn't a market for it I guess
 
You'll note a lot of very crappy cars with big rimz.
 
Makes me wonder how repossession works on those...I suppose it would involve a jack and a few folks that are well-versed at jacking up a car and removing the tires within a few minutes :). Luckily, those folks can be found in most major cities...
 
That was a big business in New Orleans when i lived there, when they wouldn't make payments the car was left on blocks on the side of the road where they took their rimz back.
 
The same clientele that rents flat-screen TVs and game consoles.
 
I guess my question is, when they repo my rimz, can I then turn around and sue them for theft of my tires?
 
Come to Atlanta. You'll find a market.

The first one I saw was in Daytona, FL.
