- - - that over 100 years ago ocean-going commercial sailing ships used to tie-up at the docks where the current street-side buildings have stood for many decades. Or that railroad tracks eventually lay between the yellow lines at center, which area these days is parking area for the delivery trucks to offload their cargo. Those of you who might recognize Commercial Street, Portland, Maine will know that DiMillo's Floating Restaurant is just out of the picture at far right, as is much of the working waterfront(and behind where I was standing). And $3 DEWEY'S(in the photo) is a happening place.
