Yes, only for the last two years of Tri-Pacer production, 1959-60, I believe. The Tri-Pacer those years had a 160-hp Lycoming, the Caribbean was 150 hp.

C. Original designation for the Cessna Cardinal C-177
The 1967 Skyhawk was the model 172H; the 1968 was 172I. The Cardinal was designed to replace the "obsolete" Skyhawk. It was originally called 172J because it was assumed it would continue the series at that point. It didn't happen; Cardinal became "177" and the "172J" designation was skipped. The 1969 Skyhawk was 172K.

D. USAF "Blue Canoe" U-3A
Yes indeed. "310A" and "310E" were military-specification 310's.
