Some time ago I posted a video of my son playing one of his original songs that was recorded by a friend of his at a local performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPf8pm_kbvE
He finally finished his first full length CD after lots of time and effort and his own $$.
I attended several of his recording sessions and I can tell you it's a lot of hard work. He was exhausted after 4-5 hours of a recording session. On his new album (CD), he wrote all the music, lyrics, played all of the instruments and sings lead and backing vocals. Personally, I find it pretty amazing.
