There is nothing like that first solo flight, except the one when you take your favorite person up for the first time. I got to take my dad up, when he was very near the end of his life. We flew over some of his favorite fishing grounds, golf courses and saw scenery he had only seen out a car window.
The two of us went to lunch near a lighthouse and I got his chair up inside so he could take a few photos.
