My Tecnam is not going to fly over Mt Everest. Not this week, anyway. Maybe next week.

The disaster on the Khumbu icefall was tragic. Sixteen Sherpas lost their lives. The Sherpas make about $400 per season for risking their lives. It's a critical part of the local economy, but the Nepalese government makes millions in climbing fees while ignoring the well being of the Sherpa climbers.

I hope the situation changes for them as a result of the deaths.
