It's old school. A group of us beat this back in 2000 at some point... or was it 2001? I got to level 6 in about 15 minutes, remembering different things, and got bored with it :)

I was up 'til 1:30 last night playing this infernal thing. ended up cheating a bit on some of the puzzles as I endedup finding a walkthrough :)

This thing is almost as bad as MYST

(I agree with you Spike!). Reminds me of some of the first choose-your-own-adventure games that came out for the Apple IIe in the 80's.
 
Stuck on that bloody green wall on level 12... I want the last couple hours of my life back...
 
Yeah, finally got past that... just started level 13.
 
it took me four days to beat the whole stupid thing. I thought it was a pretty clever game.
 
It is really clever. I did beat it this morning, but I got absolutely no work done. So now I must spend the afternoon diligently working on the projects I have stacking up here at work. I should have read the disclaimer and paid attention to it.
