Wow. We used to herd Buffalo for the Crow Indians when I was working in Montana and those things were not afraid of a helicopter in the least and would charge. The only animal that has charged me in the gulf has been a horse, and he didn't really charge, just sauntered up more like. The noise didn't phase him either. Just glad I got the rotor stopped before he stuck his head in it. He did proceed to give the helicopter a good cleaning - something must have tasted good - salt spray? - because I had to keep shooing him away because I was afraid he'd lick the paint off.
