Migraines and bad back

I have had migraines since I was a child, through diet and exercise they have retreated to a once in a great while occurrence (once every three years or so).
I fill my prescription for Imitrex before a vacation or camping trip as a just in case insurance policy.

My back will go out about once a year and I take Norco 10/325 for a couple days then all is well.
Both prescriptions are zero refill and maybe once a year I fill them.

How will these things affect my ability to get a PPL?

Thanks,

If you doc will testitfy (in a letter) that you Rx for Norco is less than 90 pills (three week's supply) per year, you can "Self Ground when back requires medication" and get certified.

But Imitrex will require a doc's letter stating that you RARELY use it, and define rarely to be less than once per year. You will need to show a negative MRI of the brain (it can be oldif the doc is the same doc and he says nothing has changed. The migraines with imitrex is a special issuance- they will want a report from the doc EVERY year, which given your history should be pretty simple..
