    Rochelle, Rochelle . . .

FYI, Perryville, MO fly-in on the 20th, so 13th with the 27th as backup sounds good.

Anyone want to play hookie tomorrow for a lunch @ JVL? I've been working since Saturday and very tempted.

I only got the Cub. I'm probably skipping lunch trip to JVL, but with the shortened timeframe will poke a few holes in the sky between Chicago and I-39.

Hey...I counted 10, and we spent an entire page just defining "midwest".

Also, this thread is pretty entertaining.

Thanks for wasting an hour of my evening :p

Crap. Dst strikes again. Good catch.

In my experience, it doesn't really matter when I set the time for anyway...

But it's fixed now. I think. Im terrible with time zones.

It's just that RPJ is a 10 minute flight if I rent the twin. Although I need approaches in the next week or two... decisions decisions...

    I booked the twin.

Did I say that? I complained about aux tanks being Inop and therefore it having short legs.

Oh. It is for my stated mission. That’s where I love that P32R hauling capability…. But I think you and I should be alright.

Put me down as a maybe. This is my first visit to PoA all year so I haven't been keeping up well. Things have been busy, both at work and with our newest little copilot born in late February.

I do like Rochelle, though, and I need to exercise the bird. Sure is a lot of yard work to do tho... :(

The restaurant at KJEF is fairly new. I forget what happened, but they had to rebuild everything there, the restaurant is a happy side effect of that. I've only eaten there once, but it was definitely above average for airport restaurants...

There's quite a few TKS Mooneys... In fact, the Ovation with TKS was the first FIKI piston single. All of the long-body Mooneys have had FIKI TKS as a factory option, there is also a non-FIKI retrofit for long and I think mid bodies too.

Have you ever flown in there? Nicest grass strip I've ever been to. It's lit! And there's frequently a King Air there, and I've seen an Aerostar and some other birds you don't normally see on grass there as well.

    Congratulations!

And the yard work will keep. I just mowed some 8" tall grass today...

    Thanks!

If I don't get the garlic mustard burned early enough, it makes 10x more for next year... And it's gonna be a lot easier to take care of the massive tree branch that came down before I can't mow around it and weeds start growing... And it's a lot easier to do a lot of things before the leaves are growing... Sigh. :(

The plane is at KARR, but I want to do a bit more than fly the 9 minutes from there to RPJ. Where you at.

I'll probably drive the 40 mins to Rochelle given (forecasted) wx. If it clears up I'll do the 16 min flight!
