My turn and bank coordinator died after only about 300 hours in service last year. During the Show I tracked down the manufacturer, Mid Continent Instruments, who had a booth in one of the big exhibition hangars. I told them about my predicament, and asked what I could do about it. They agreed that 300 hours was too short a life for a gyro instrument, and just replaced the unit for free, far more than I would have asked of them. It is so rare to see anyone really stand behind their product these days, I am really impressed.
