im staying over on Biscayne Blvd in Miami, Florida and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if that's a bad part of town or not? and also wats the closes nices beach
I've been going to Miami all the time for 15 yrs. I worry about when I
go up to Omaha more. We go to stuff downtown sometimes .. like
the Heat games. I've never had any problems.
My favorite beach on the south end is Cape Florida down by the lighthouse
on Key Biscayne. Nice. Follow I-95 down to just before it turns into US1 and turn out onto Rickenbacker Causeway. Or you can follow Biscayne Blvd and
Brickell south to Rickenbacker. Go as far as you can into Bill Beggs Park.
I think it's $6 now to get in. Plus $1.50 or so to go out Rickenbacker.
On the north end I like Haulover by North Miami. Very nice beach.
Bayside is a nice shopping center on the water right at Biscayne and NE
6th (? I think .. the one that goes out to the cruise ships south of the Arena.)
That reminds me .. gotta watch for flights for the first week of October. The
Eagles are going to be up at the Panther arena at Sawgrass.
