Anybody knows of an electronic training tool to help me familiarize with METAR/TAF nomenclature.

I know the theory, I just want to practice reading them and become proficient at it.

Some sort of electronic flash cards would be cool.

I can just go ahead and read real METARS, but I want to be checked

If you go to http://runwayfinder.com you can hover over the TAF/METAR on airports and see the code, then if you click on it, it will give it to you translated.

Check out the ADDS (Aviation Digital Data Service) site online, set up an airport identifier, lay in some non-interpreted METARS and TAFS, write out in english what you think they mean, then go back in and hit the translated version and see how you did.
