Hi guys. Ill be flying to punta cana in the next weeks in a cirrus sr20. While there, i wanted to explore montecristo, mdmc, on the north coast. What is the procedure to go there and land? Anything required? I know they dont have services or fuel, but thats okay. Heard the national park there is awesome.

Is any paperwork i need? Is it even attended? Youtube / google lools.really cool but no info i can find. I have aopa Caribbean flying adventures bokk, its listed, but no info.

I know it non towered, etc, domestic airport, but what is required or procedure? Anyine done this?

Thanks.

I think they had a booth at Oshkosh, about doing it. There is the G.A. ramp at Punta Cana Airport, they’ll know the drill. If you get the MDPC entry down, local should be easier. Fly safe, at least the water is warm.

Ive been into mdpc many times and with many blank stares too... thats why looking here first. They barely know how to find themselves and get to work most days.... hence "island time" ecpression.

Thanks though.
