- - - just to let everyone know that the Maine Legislature has sent the new budget to the governor's desk. Within the budget plan is legislation which will:
a. do away with the sales tax issue that's been hot news;
b. make sales tax exempt on aircraft and/or aircraft parts and service.
The whole program is just awaiting the governor's signature.
