I don't know Ryan Post. However, he's either the son of, or nephew of Frank and Bonnie(Dyer) Post, who were my classmates at Rockland High School.

Interesting sidelight: Metinic, a small island off Rockland and basically owned by 350 years of Post(and Witham) families, was once visited by a well-known writer. The writer, local to Brunswick-Topsham and a regular customer of mine, was politely(???) "invited" to take her pen/paper and camera and go back to the mainland from which she came. Metinic's private world didn't need to be conveyed to places far and wide. "We have enough problems with outside boat traffic as it is; we don't need more tourists flocking to our space."
